Goodbye 2020...
Even though 2020 was the year when I struggled, stressed and hurt a lot, it was still a year to remember...
2020 was the year when I completed my first knitted project
2020 was the year when I got back on a horse after 10 years of being off.
2020 was the year when my youngest baby stood up, took her first steps, and turned one.
2020 was the year when I finally got some help for some mental health issues.
2020 was the year when I gained gratitude for warm hugs and company.
2020 was the year when I missed seeing people’s smiles.
2020 was the year when we spent more time outside.
2020 was the year when we started to step outside of our comfort zones.
2020 was the year when we went camping. Twice.
2020 was the year when the girls went to their first horse camp.
2020 was the year when I took the girls to the mountains and went on a hike.
2020 was the year when we homeschooled. And unschooled. And deschooled. And reschooled.
2020 was the year when our family connected. We played. We learned. We grew.
2020 was the year we made the somewhat impulsive decision to put our home of 9 years up for sale.
2020 was the year we moved into a home on a property that we have been dreaming of for years. It’s definitely not perfect, but it’ll be a place where we can continue to learn and grow together.
2020 was the year that I gained a deep gratitude for the people around me. My family, close friends, ward family, and even random strangers.
